On May 02, 2009, the Grand Rapids Chorus stepped on stage at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and wowed the audience and judges with a show stopping performance that won them the Gold Medal.  The Chorus competed against nine other Choruses from Region 3 and has secured a spot on the International stage in Seattle, Washington in October 2010.

 

The chorus is one of more than 600 choruses worldwide who compete each year at the Regional level in the hopes of winning the right to compete on the International stage.  The Grand Rapids Chorus will be amongst approximately 35 contenders vying for the esteemed International Gold Medal in Seattle.

 

The Grand Rapids Chorus is a proud member of Sweet Adelines International which spans across five continents and has a membership of more than 30,000 women.
